The Memorial Day is a Federal celebration and United States Holiday that is made on the last Monday of May which will be(observed in 2009 on May 26). It is also known as the Decoration Day. This holiday together celebrated by all for the memory of the U.S. patriotic peoples who have died in military service to their country.
This festival was first started to honor Union soldiers who have died during the American Civil War, just after the World War I, it was expanded to include those who died in any of the military action or war.
